10 Things That Have Made My Life More Tasty, after Brian Sibley’s list, and Maxine Clarke’s list:

olives (green, black, maroon)

citrus (lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits) and everything flavoured with them

jasmine green tea

fruitcake (the good stuff — not Claxton!), stollen, and popovers

red wine, sherry, port, and dark beers

macaroni and cheese with potato chips

steamed crabs with Old Bay seasoning

pears and pear flavouring

dill (but not in pickles)

the salad bar at Warren’s Lobster House (their stuffed sole with hollandaise isn’t bad, either)
