Cookie Archaeology

Justin spent some time tracking down his mother’s (and gradmother’s) Melt-in-The-Mouth cookie recipe, using libraries, eBay, Google, the cookbook searching skills of his aunt and mother, and other websites. With illustrations. So far, we know it’s been printed in a Woman’s  Day magazine from Dec. 1953, a Woman’s Day cookbook set from 1965, and possibly a 1940s era Woman’s Day December magazine issue.  But where did Woman’s Day get it?
